I have ten minutes before I have to get ready for work.  Behold:

Beanie whipped up for Hank as I was watching the Cal Bears self destruct on the field.  I was working on a pair of socks with a pattern but I was too distracted so I had to switch to something mindless and foolproof.

Hat made out of Inca Marl inspired by this.  I don’t know if I got it just right but it looks cute on and is incredibly soft.

Pattern by my friend and knitting guru Judy, it’s a winter headband out of Crystal Palace Kaya.  I’ll have to take more pictures because all of these truly suck  but this is what I’ve got right now.  Ruby put her hair in a pony and this headband looks cuter with your hair down but it was Sunday morning and I wasn’t going to quibble…

Gotta go make some lunches.

The Hank picture is extra good! You should frame that one!
I really like the Inca Marl hat. The band is similar to the one I’m putting on the aran sweater. Even though I don’t enjoy making bobbles, the look is cute.

Oh, HEN!! I opened up your blog and my heart just melted. That sweet face!! And Ruby…beautiful and stylish. I had a dream about you and your family last night and it just reiterates how much I miss you all and how you will forever be such a wonderful part of me. Your kindness, generosity, friendship, and creativity…you are an amazing person! I’d love to come down for dinner sometime if you would allow me to be so presumptuous as to invite myself! 🙂

Anyway, I love all your creations. You are so talented. That sweater is gorgeous on you (from your previous post). Despite the Cal loses, I hope you are enjoying autumn. Hope to talk to you soon!
